Do not miss these unforgettable concerts
Grammy Award-winning Nicole Zuraitis, a New York-based jazz vocalist, songwriter, pianist, arranger, and bandleader, will perform on April 28 at the 6th Backstage Live Pula Festival in INK Pula and on April 29 at the 16th Zagreb Jazz Festival in Kerempuh Theatre!
Nicole Zuraitis will perform with her dream lineup: guitarist Idan Morim, bassist Sam Weber, and drummer Dan Pugach. With every ticket purchased for the concert in Pula, €5 will be donated to the Ruža Petrović Children’s Home.
Her sixth album, How Love Begins, co-produced with eight-time Grammy winner Christian McBride, won the 2024 Grammy for Best Jazz Vocal Album. She is the only artist ever to have written and arranged an entire album entirely on her own. She has won two Grammys and has been nominated four times, along with numerous other prestigious awards.

Israeli trumpeter Avishai Cohen is celebrated worldwide for his distinctive sound and exploratory spirit. A versatile composer-performer, he moves fluidly between jazz styles. Beyond acclaimed work with his quartet and the “Triveni” trio, he has collaborated with Mark Turner Quartet, SFJAZZ Collective, and The 3 Cohens Sextet (with siblings Anat and Yuval).
His 2024 album “Ashes to Gold” reflects on life’s transitions through the Japanese concept of Kintsugi (beauty in repair). The meditative suite-like compositions showcase his lyrical depth and technical mastery, cementing his reputation as a boundary-pushing innovator.
Early in his career, DownBeat critics named him a “Rising Star” four years straight. Today, he stands among jazz’s most influential trumpeters—a patient, intuitive artist who values musical dialogue over virtuosic displays.
